All permits issued are required to have field inspections by a Code Official.Complete applications for permits must be submitted to the Department of Community Development and shall include all required information.All information requested on the Mechanical / HVAC permit application must be provided or the permit will not be issued.HVAC Contractors are advised of the following:.In accordance with the Uniform Construction Code (Act 45) a $4.50 surcharge will be added to each permit issued for building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical work.Contractors submitting building permit applications are required to submit ALL sub-contractor permit applications at the same time as the building permit application.Two (2) sets of Engineered or Architectural plans must be submitted with all applications, unless not required by the Code Official.Effective Jtwo (2) sets of plans and two (2) sets of permit applications are required on all submittals.Please contact the Department of Community Development to find out which types of work need permits.
